“Flywheel”: Movie Recommendation

After I watched “Facing the Giants” earlier this year, I was in awe of it’s profound message. It was an awesome thought-provoking, spiritual, funny & emotional movie all wrapped up in a football theme. It was the 2nd movie produced by Sherwood Media Ministry of Sherwood Baptist Church in Albany, Georgia.
So when I saw “Flywheel” (another Sherwood movie) on the shelves, …I knew it would be good. I expected nothing less than the best from them. “Flywheel” was actually the 1st movie they produced. And it’s got a strong inspirational message of hope, redemption, faith & love.

Flywheel is about the turning point that Jay Austin is faced with after he sells an automobile to the minister of his church. Jay grossly overcharges his own minister, but says he is giving him a great deal. The minister asks if he can pray for Jay. His prayer is the beginning of Jay taking a real look at his relationship to God, his family and his honesty.

This movie is amazing. There is no other movie that has touched me so deeply as this one. I watched it with my husband the other night. You’ll laugh. You’ll cry. You’ll get chills from watching God’s blessings unfold before your eyes and be moved to change. Most of all you’ll deepen your faith in God. The story this movie tells and the life lessons learned are extremely poignant.
Be sure and watch the behind the scenes section. The actors share the story behind the making of the movie. It truly shows how God was behind this movie from the beginning to end. Sherwood Baptist Church continues to receive letters of people being touched and changing their life back to Jesus when they watch this awesome movie.
