How To Make a Linocut Rubber Stamp
June 6, 2008
It is taking alot longer to package and ship out my orders now that my Etsy.com sales are steady. I used to draw on the outside of each package, but I’d like to speed up the process a bit.
So I thought stamps would be a crafty way to do this, while still “leaving my mark” with original artwork on the packaging….I have all the supplies, so I’m ready to try it out! So, here’s the really nifty tutorial I found for making your very own stamps!

Here’s what you’ll need:
- Speedycut Speedball rubber block,
- a Speedball carving set,
- a pencil, and of course
- an ink pad and paper.
You can check out the speedball website here.
And you can see the full instructions at weirdbuglady’s blog, right here.
Or, if you don’t have time or patience to DIY, then you can order from terbearco on etsy. I bought a super-cute recycle stamp from her which sparked my idea of making my own stamps…
Happy stamping!
