Hotelle Motelle is an up-and comer’ that caught my eye on Etsy.com. And Little Houses has been a long-time favorite of mine. (The show is still an favorite of mine too…Little House on The Prairie, ah, be still my heart. The bonnets, the pigtails….I thought I WAS Half Pint when I was a little girl. LOL!)

This dress is inspired from a trip to Western SiChuan two years ago where I saw fairiest natural scenes which moved a girl going together to cry, where most beautiful Tibeten women and most manly and bold Tibeten men live. Can you imagine holy snow mountains in the distance, crystal blue stream galloping through ten of thousands pink and white azalea full in blossom? Can you imagine a lake with bright purple, blue, green, white colored water? Can you imagine you sit in an outdoor natural hot spring surrounded by sublime natural beauty? Can you imagine a treking road along with fancy trees in yellowish green leaves like something can only appear in impressionism paintings?

According to many buyers’ request, I shorten the length to mid calf, so that the shape will look fitter and show your beautiful boots. It looks much better than the original look. And also I improved the sleeves, they are 3/4 sleeve now, your arms will look longer and slimmer, and you may mix and match with this design with long gloves or arm warmers.

Etsy Finds: Replicca Clothing Company

I am absolutely in LOVE with the handmade clothing line Replicca (a.k.a Rebecca Duyzer) on Etsy! She hails from Hamilton, Ontario. I don’t know which ones I love more. They are all so colorful and funky! I love the hoodies and the totally-cute & unexpected front pockets. And this is fair trade apparel, people. She buys her fabrics locally.  I have to get some for fall!

I LOVE this top from tangente on Etsy. It is made by upcycling a vintage scarf. It’s perfect for summer and eco-chic!

Description - Repurposed scarf turned into a great convertible top. How eco-chic!

“Mommy’s Little Angel” toddler tee

Here is a sample of one of the shirts from my new maternity & baby clothing line. I just printed this new children’s tee. It’s a size 2T for toddlers. This is the back of the shirt, so the child wearing it will look like they to have little angel wings!!! Too cute! I also have a design for the front that says “Mommy’s Little Angel” that I will upload soon!

I print these shirts by hand on my silkscreen machine. It is so much fun to take my ideas from an original concept through the process of printing it, and then seeing a finished product!

 

Screenprinting is a process that is almost like developing film in a darkroom (which I learned how to do in my college Black & White Photography courses. which I LOVED, by the way.) I have tons of ideas for new designs. and hopefully, I’ll get the online boutique ready to launch soon. I will reveal the name I picked when I launch the site! I’m super-excited about it!
