mindfulness is rain on a tin roof

The sound of rain on a tin roof is so beautiful.

I love how rain calls us to pause. To surrender. To just….be. .

Moments of slowness, and an introspective, deep unfurling of the mind – with all it’s to do lists.

In these sacred moments of stillness, we can sink deeply into the act of mindfulness. .

We can feel from our senses. This very moment. And soak it in – in all of it’s fluid, intentional feelings of closeness and intimacy.

A book yearns to be read, and technology asks to be turned off….and we are now able to listen to our heartbeats. Place your right hand on your heart and feel it beating.

Deep breath….,inhale…..peace, and exhale everything else.

We are sweetly called to disconnect to reconnect with nature, and in turn, ourselves and each other. Have a wonderful day full of quiet, peaceful moments, friends. 💫

Thank you Mother Nature. Needed this. ❤️✨🌧
