As artists I am inspired by everyday things around me…my family, nature, colors, emotions, moods, etc. Give me a fun piece of fabric, paper or beads and it’s off to the races! I love finding the “unusual” and making it into something functional!”

Literally, the term “gypsy” refers to descendants of the original Indian travelers who arrived in Western Europe after the downfall of the Byzantine empire in the 15th Century. They called themselves the ‘Lords of Little Egypt’ which contracted to Egyptians, Gyptians and eventually Gypsies or Gyppos.
I find it interesting that most of us have at least a little gypsy in us… something that draws us to explore and see what abundance life has to offer all of us. Even if it’s only for a day, a weekend, or a lifetime endeavor, we are all travelers.

I like cotton, linen, taffeta and vintage kimono fabrics, topstitching with different color thread, vintage trims, lace and buttons. If you like the same things you might find something you like here.

Desire that you like my work, because I make it with love.
All the models become of artisan form, for that reason they are so special and they are never equal.
My name is Brooke Harper, and my beautiful daugher inspired me to start making handmade organic baby and toddler clothing. After having my baby I decided to take a break from the fast paced NYC fashion scene. I came back to our organic family farm in southern New Mexico, but I couldn’t sit still for long before I set up my shop. I believe in supporting our sustainable farmers and keeping our world beautiful for the coming generations.
