Sherwood Pictures has just announced that their much anticipated 4th movie will be named “Courageous”. The plot is about 4 officers who are all fathers, that encourage each other to be biblical heads of the household and strong father figures to their children – as Proverbs 27:17 says:
The Kendrick Brothers also brought us: Facing The Giants, Flywheel & Fireproof from this powerful ministry. I can’t wait to see this movie – I know it will be great, and this is an inspirational and uplifting message that needs to be addressed in the world we are living in! May God bless this movie & ministry and may these strong positive messages speak loud and clear!
Proverbs 31 Ministries brings God’s peace, perspective, and purpose to today’s busy woman.
Proverbs 31 Ministries is a non-denominational, non-profit Christian ministry that seeks to lead women into a personal relationship with Christ. With Proverbs 31:10-31 as a guide, Proverbs 31 Ministries reaches women right in the middle of their busy day through free daily devotions, radio program, speaking events, conferences, monthly magazine, resources, online communities, and Gather and Grow groups.
We are real women offering real-life solutions to women who are striving to maintain life’s balance, in spite of today’s hectic pace and cultural pull away from godly principles. Wherever a woman may be on her spiritual journey, Proverbs 31 Ministries exists to be a trusted friend who takes her by the hand and walks by her side, leading her one step closer to the heart of God.
I first heard about Daily Worth from Jena at Modish. It is so worth it to sign up for their daily emails! Here’s their blurb:
DailyWorth is a
free daily personal finance
email for women. We deliver
practical tips, empowering ideas
and the occasional kick in the pants.
Our tips cover saving, spending, earning, entrepreneurship and professional development.
Our vision is simple:
Recognize your self worth
Set concrete, numerical goals
Take control of your financial health
Change the way you think about money
Spend and invest wisely
I get the daily emails & I LOVE them. They are both witty & inspiring. They cover wide range of topics beneficial to women, entreprenuers & small business owners.
The illustrations are cleverly cute. I appreciate how the often dry, masculine topic of finance is approached from the feminine point-of-view and how the advice and tips are geared to an audience of highly successful women who seek to grow and learn more, and be empowered.
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of [the Divine].
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We were born to make manifest the glory of [the Divine] within us.
It is not just in some; it is in everyone.
And, as we let our own light shine, we consciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
‘All You Need is Love’. This lovely and very true phrase has been hand letterpressed by Douglas Wilson using deep red ink on thick bright white paper.
A perfect Valentines Day gift for that special someone!
Please note these are Artist Proofs; prints that didn’t quite make the cut to become part of the signed and numbered edition. Doug Wilson is very strict on the quality of his prints and any slight imperfections are rejected for the signed edition. Because of the nature of letterpress there are always slight challenges that arise while printing.
Each AP has a slight imperfection – either a slightly bent corner, some stray ink, or a patchy impression.
